Never ones to stay put, Piper & Carson are going back out on the road. Their summer travels kicked off in June on the East coast of Canada, with dates in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Continuing the journey cross country, the duo will be boarding the train to Winnipeg at the beginning of August, where they will begin their month-long tour of the West Coast. Piper & Carson are connecting with fans where ever they go through their inspired and relevant personal, social and political music, the deep love and respect that they have for each other, and the real-life stories that people relate to on a personal level.

“We feel at home on the road. Travelling together and connecting with folks brings us such joy. Lately we’ve been taking the roads less travelled and we feel truly privileged to see the magical wonderland that is this earth.”

The first show will be on August 3rd at the Prairie Ink Restaurant & Bakery when they arrive in Winnipeg. On August 6th they will be performing at The Ship & Plough in Gimli, MB – a popular local spot that is quickly being known for the quality artists that stop here on tours through Manitoba. Coming back into the city the following night, Piper & Carson return to downtown Winnipeg where they will share the bill with local wilderness loving troubadour, and Folk artist Kevin Roy at the High and Lonesome Club. Continuing on through to BC, the pair will make stops in Saskatoon at D’Lish, in Edmonton at Café Blackbird, and then close out the week in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Parsons, AB. The following weekend, the duo will perform in the greater Vancouver area before heading back into Alberta for a show at the Twin Butte General Store. Before returning home to Hamilton, they will have two special nights with their fans at house concerts. The second night they will join fellow folk musicians and strong female voices – Raine Hamilton and Abigail Lapell.

Their latest album, the self-titled “Piper & Carson” was released this past December and has been featured across North America. It was recorded live off the floor at Thorpe’s Organic Produce in Millgrove, ON in the living room of the century old farmhouse. Piper Hayes and Carson Ritcey-Thorpe alongside producer Chris Bartos (Kaia Kater, The Barr Brothers, Jonathan Byrd) recorded the 16 tracks that make up the album in one day, capturing the energy and personal connection at heart of the release.
