Although I didn’t win the competition, I have recently been reminded of Iceland once again. It happens about once a year my life is infiltrated with signs or people that are somehow connected to this wonderful place. This time round I realized I never did share my amazing stories and one of my most memorable moments on my trip. A moment that solidified friendship and will never stop making me laugh…ooo and produced some of the best photos…

Recently I’ve dramatically changed the way I live. I stopped working a day job full-time and started doing things the way I want them to be. It’s truly incredible and so different than any way of living I have ever tried before. It’s a little scary because I have no idea what’s next, but I guess that’s where the risk comes in. And certainly ready to attack. Already in the last 2 days I have seen a handful of people I love the most in this world. Some were goodbyes and some were hellos. Just today with my mum we ran into more family that we haven’t seen in at least over a year. What a joy that was. I am just so happy today and and loving being back with my loved ones and in my own room again….I have lots of photos to post and share…stories to tell…songs to write and much much more! Please stay tuned here’s a teaser or two of more to come!!!!!
We got up really early today to catch our bus to Copenhagen. It was smooth sailing all the way and I’m totally amazed that not once on the train in Berlin did we have out tickets checked!!!
Our bus was 7 hrs, two of which were on a ferry where we got to walk around and go outside. We had our first day of sunshine in a long while…we were so lucky as our whole stay in Berlin was grey and rainy.
